A basketball score sheet is a template that allows a coach or spectator to track how a game plays out. The most basic sheet records both team points and fouls, as well as individual players’ points and fouls. A more complex scoresheet (like those used by the International Basketball Federation or the National Basketball Association) can track more stats for players, such as rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, and turnovers.
To fill the basketball score sheet out professionally, use a red pen for the 1st and 3rd quarters, and a blue or black pen for the 2nd and 4th quarters + overtime. Before the game begins, fill out the main details, including: Date; Time; Team Names; League; Referees; etc; Then ask the coach to fill out their team roster by listing each player's name and number.
